Library Services

More than 35 Centres are home to their local library, playing a vital role in providing access to information, technology and learning material. Through their connection to the State Library and wider network, they open doors to global resources and many accessible learning opportunities. From promoting early learning and literacy to helping improve digital inclusion and access, they are safe spaces where people can learn, share and grow together.

More than just a place to borrow books, libraries are a key part of these Centres as community hubs – creating welcoming spaces that bring people together and foster connection, interaction and skill development. They are also a source of relaxation, enjoyment and s creative outlet for many, helping promote individual and community wellbeing. Whether it’s accessing technology, discovering new ideas or simply enjoying a quiet space to read, these libraries play a valuable role in developing empowered, resilient and thriving communities.
