2024 Member Survey Summary Report

Linkwest is proud to present the results of our 2024 Member Survey. This year the role of Centres as the heart of their communities shines through, set in the context of increased financial stress for Centre managers and the WA community.  More than 34,000 Western Australians use Centres in an average week - a number that has increased steadily since 2019. Centres are key community connectors, bringing together people and acting as a link to essential services and supports.

The purpose of the Member Survey is to gain a better understanding of Linkwest member Centres and their communities. It provides Centres with the opportunity to share their priorities so Linkwest can effectively advocate on behalf of the network, and the survey results have already been put to effective use in our State Budget Submission. This report presents data collected over June – August 2024 and provides a snapshot of Neighbourhood Centres (NCs) and Community Resource Centres (CRCs).

We encourage Centres to use this report in their own advocacy and fundraising efforts, as it provides a clear picture of the most pressing issues affecting WA communities.

Thank you to all the Centres who participated in the survey and contributed their insights to our vision of empowered, resilient and thriving communities.
