Community Education

Community education opportunities at Centres offer a range of programs that help disengaged or disadvantaged adults transition back into learning, develop work-related skills, improve language, literacy, and numeracy, and access pathways into formal education.

These programs build community capacity and promote wellbeing by providing vocational education, skill development, and inclusive learning opportunities easily accessible within the local community.

Additionally, many Centres offer workshops and courses in a wide range of subjects, including First Nations languages, mosaic art, singing, parenting, public speaking, cooking, composting, self-improvement, life skills and much more, all of which empower individuals and strengthen communities.
