Linkwest is committed to supporting Neighbourhood and Community Resource Centres by providing relevant, accessible, and affordable training. Our training aims to build the capacity Centres - and other small NFPs - by upskilling the people who drive the success of these organisations.
We cover a range of topics - from strategic planning to fundraising - to ensure that Centre managers, coordinators, committee members, and volunteers feel confident in their roles. Governance is a key focus for our training, as strong governance is the foundation of any successful organisation, and being on a management committee can be a challenging, if rewarding, role. On the operational side, we have listened to the requests of Centre managers and coordinators, and have developed sessions on topics - such as project planning and outcomes - relevant to them.
We develop our training especially with our members in mind and strive to provide clear information and new perspectives in an engaging way.
While some sessions are open only to our members, others are open to the general public, so we urge you to check our calendar regularly.
